Robin Mazumder

Robin Mazumder is a passionate community builder dedicated helping make Edmonton a fun, vibrant and socially inclusive city. He has a keen interest in how city building and urban design can contribute to wellness, particularly mental health. Robin was recently named aTop 40 under 40 by Avenue Magazine and a Top Influencer by Metro Edmonton. For his day job, he works as an occupational therapist in mental health and teaches courses in mental health at MacEwan University.

He spends the rest of his time making and innovating. Projects he has been involved in this past year include #lightbrightyeg, the 102 ave Pop up Bike Lane#HumanScaleYeg, and most recently #yegsnowfight.

On top of his involvement with these projects, Robin is also committed to helping end poverty in Edmonton and is currently co-chairing the Community Well-Being Working group with the Mayor’s Task Force to Eliminate Poverty. He also currently sits on the Activation Board for Make Something Edmonton.
