Dan Pink On How To Support Innovation and Creativity In The Workplace

In this RSA animation of one of Dan Pink's talks on what motivates people, he shares that contrary to what most of us think, monetary incentives connected to innovation and creativity do not bring the results we want. He says this is the case because when we focus on trying to come up with something creative and new in order to win a prize or a raise, it ends up hindering our creative thinking abilities.  Dan has some pretty good research behind him as well to back this claim up.  Very interesting video.
